Ciments de l'Atlas is a Moroccan company that produces and develops quality cements and ready-mixed concrete, positioning itself as a national cement operator of reference.

Since the start of our cement plants in Ben Ahmed and Beni Mellal, we have drawn the ambition to become an actor unconditionally involved in the economic, social and human development of our country.

And since then, we have cultivated a deep commitment to creating the conditions for sustainable, environmentally friendly and collectively profitable growth. In 2013, we started the recovery of Alternative Fuels and Materials. In 2018, we made the choice to use wind energy in our two production sites and in 2020, we obtained certification to the ISO 50001 v2018 standard on Energy Efficiency Management.

Operational excellence, industrial reliability and the optimization of production tools are principles rooted in the fundamentals of CIMAT. They have and will continue to guide our actions and shape our continuous improvement approach. In the same vein, CSR and sustainable development are an integral part of our past, present and future. INTEGRATED QSE & ENERGY EFFICIENCY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Ciments de l'Atlas, in a voluntary approach, has mobilized all its multidisciplinary skills to establish an integrated management system (IMS) that covers the development, production and marketing of clinker and cement.

The architecture of this management system was defined in 2012 by identifying the management, implementation, support and leadership processes at all its sites (headquarters, plants and logistics platforms).

The SMI constitutes a framework for defining and deploying the policy, objectives and action plans that will ensure the competitiveness and sustainability of the company, through:

• taking into account the expectations and needs of interested parties
• taking into account the risks and opportunities related to the changing context
• efficient process management

This management system integrates quality, occupational health and safety, environmental and energy efficiency aspects in accordance with internal requirements, current regulations, compliance obligations and normative requirements resulting from the standards:

• ISO 9001 v 2015 on quality management
• ISO 14001 v 2015 on environmental management
• ISO 45001 v 2018 on occupational health and safety management
• ISO 50001 v2018 on energy management
• NM 10.1.004 Moroccan standard for hydraulic binders (cements and cement constituents)

Ciments de l'Atlas Management System is certified as compliant with these standards. External audits are carried out annually by accredited organizations:

• Veritas Office Certification
• IMANOR (Institut Marocaine de Normalisation) which depends directly on the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Investment and Digital Economy.
