In order to guarantee environmental compliance in terms of atmospheric emissions (dust and pollutant gases), our production sites are equipped with the latest generation bag filters installed in the firing circuit and the cement mill.
To control gas emissions in a tangible way, our stacks are equipped with gas analyzers that allow continuous monitoring of the main pollutants likely to be found in the exhaust gases.
In addition, a periodic control by an approved external laboratory is carried out every quarter. This control concerns the components continuously analyzed by our internal analysis devices, but also components not measured in the self-control such as dioxins and furans, benzene molecules, etc.
CIMAT has a continuous improvement approach which leads us to set emission thresholds that are more restrictive than those imposed by the legislation in force. Their compliance is monitored and optimized on a permanent basis.
Emission rates below regulatory thresholds for all polluting gases
Dust emissions for the two cement plants maintained at a level below 5mg/Nm3 vs. 50mg/Nm3 (threshold set by national regulations)
