The efforts of Ciments de l'Atlas in optimizing energy consumption and taking into account regulatory requirements have been rewarded by obtaining the ISO 50001 v2018 certification related to energy efficiency for the two cement plants located in Ben Ahmed and Beni Mellal. 

This new certification reflects Ciments de l'Atlas' integrated policy and its commitment to sustainable development, which has always been at the heart of the group's development strategy.

In an economic climate marked by uncertainty, the group Ciments de l'Atlas (CIMAT) dares an exit on the bond market. Indeed, the governing bodies of the cement company owned at 89% by the Sefrioui family (reference shareholder of the Moroccan leader in real estate Addoha Group) have just authorized the management to launch a bond issue operation up to one billion MAD. For the moment, the information memorandum on which the investment bank mandated by the number three cement company in Morocco is working, has not yet been filed for validation with the Moroccan Financial Markets Authority (the policeman of the financial market); but according to sources close to the issuer, the operation will have to be closed by the end of 2020.
